Ampere, with an international and six national records from Greaves Electric Mobility, today launched the new Nexus EX+, strengthening its Nexus EV with IoT-enabled Intellipack, a more powerful 5 kW motor and an IP65-rated water-resistant charger. Designed on the Nexus platform’s proven performance and record-setting credentials, the new Nexus EX+ brings powerful connected technology and a smarter ownership experience through the Ampere Connect App, with 30+ intelligent features.
The new Nexus EX+ further enhances the award-winning Nexus EV proposition by combining smarter ownership, stronger performance, durability and convenience for demanding real-world riding conditions.
Intellipack is Ampere’s IoT-enabled intelligence and connectivity suite, delivered through the Ampere Connect App. It brings powerful connected technology to the Nexus EX+, including real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, Find My Scooter, turn-by-turn navigation, remote vehicle diagnostics, trip reports, ride stats, charging history, energy insights, battery health score and service booking. The two-variant strategy gives customers a clear choice — the value-focused Nexus EX+, or the Nexus EX+ with Intellipack, offering a smarter, IoT-enabled ownership experience.
The new 5 kW motor produces peak 202 Nm torque at the wheel and enables the Nexus EX+ to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.5 seconds, giving riders stronger pick-up, improved gradeability for steep climbs, flyovers and hilly terrain and better overall performance. The scooter also comes with an IP65-rated water-resistant charger, adding durability and convenience across varied weather conditions. The new Nexus EV will be available in two variants: Nexus EX+ priced at INR 1,29,999 and Nexus EX+ with Intellipack priced at INR 1,35,999, offered in two premium colours: Carbon Knight and Steel Grey.

The new Nexus EX+ comes equipped with next-generation LFP battery technology, designed for a long battery life of 2,00,000 km. Combined with lower every day running costs, the long-life battery proposition provides a strong total cost of ownership advantage for customers moving from petrol scooters to electric mobility. The new Nexus EX+ also comes with a 5-year/75,000 km battery warranty. The new Nexus EX+ will be available across Ampere dealerships nationwide, marking another step in Ampere’s commitment to building electric scooters that evolve with the changing needs of Bharat.
