Siemens Energy India Limited has appointed Mr. Ajay Jain as the Execution Unit Head for Grid Technologies – Transformers, effective October 5, 2026. Jain has taken over the responsibility in full-time employment as part of changes in the company’s senior management.
Mr. Ajay Jain brings more than 30 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing, business operations and P&L leadership in the power transformers industry.
Prior to joining Siemens Energy India, Mr. Ajay Jain was associated with CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited for more than three years, where he served as Vice President – Transformer Business. In this role, he led a multi-plant transformers business with full P&L responsibility.
Earlier, Mr. Ajay Jain held several senior leadership positions at Hitachi Energy India and GE T&D India. His responsibilities across these roles included profitability, customer satisfaction, market share and operational excellence.
Mr. Jain holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Power Systems from Punjabi University, Patiala.
Following Jain’s appointment, Mr. Ganesh Nadgouda has ceased to be the interim Execution Unit Head for Grid Technologies – Transformers and ceased to be part of Siemens Energy India’s Senior Management, effective close of business hours on October 4, 2026. Mr. Nadgouda will continue with the company in his existing role as General Manager – Plant Operations (Grid Technologies – Transformers).
