Transrail Lighting Limited has secured new orders worth more than ₹574 crore mainly in the core Domestic Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business with major contribution from the reconductoring of Transmission Lines with its new age carbon core HTLS conductors manufactured in its Silvassa plant.
The order wins comprise projects including EPC of Transmission Lines and Transmission line reconductoring projects with supply of HTLS Conductors from its factories and also supply of Poles etc. These wins further demonstrate the Company’s capabilities in the HTLS Conductor manufacturing and stringing and the importance of its recent increase in conductor manufacturing capacity by 70%. It also includes an EPC contract for construction of Transmission line from a very large private sector Indian developer.
With this the order intake for the year grows to ₹1,609 crore and there are additional ₹694 crore worth of orders where the Company is L1.
The Company continues to enjoy a healthy bidding pipeline across both domestic and international markets. A robust order book, coupled with a strong bidding pipeline, and increased capacities reinforces the Company’s long-term growth outlook. It is notable that in order to cater to the growing orderbook of the Company, it has already doubled its Tower manufacturing capacity to 172,400 MTPA and increased the conductor capacity by 70% to 40,800 KMPA.
