Adani Energy Solutions Signs PPA for 2,500 MW RTC Renewable Power

Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited to supply renewable round-the-clock power for 25 years under agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company

Powerpulse Trading Solutions Limited (PTSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Energy Solutions Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 2,500 MW of renewable energy round-the-clock (RTC) power for 25 years.

The agreement was signed on September 8, 2026, following the transfer of rights and obligations under the Letter of Award (LOA) originally issued by MSEDCL to Adani Power Limited (APL). The transfer was undertaken pursuant to an agreement between APL and PTSL after obtaining the requisite approvals.

The LOA for the supply of 2,500 MW of RTC power was originally issued by MSEDCL to APL and had been announced by APL on April 2, 2026. Following the assignment, PTSL entered into the PPA with MSEDCL in accordance with the terms of the LOA.

Under the PPA, the power supply will continue for 25 years from the Scheduled Commencement Date of Supply (SSD). The contract award covers the supply of 2,500 MW of renewable energy RTC power.

Adani Energy Solutions said the PPA is aligned with PTSL’s core competencies in multi-source energy aggregation, power portfolio management and power supply optimisation for its customers. The transaction is expected to strengthen PTSL’s power supply portfolio and reinforce its position in the energy solutions business.

The contract has been awarded by MSEDCL, a domestic entity, and the company has stated that neither the promoter/promoter group/group companies have any interest in the awarding entity nor does the contract fall under related-party transactions.
