Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced the complete commissioning of the “Transmission System for evacuation of Power from REZ in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase-III Part-H” project. The project was commissioned with effect from July 4, 2026, while the Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO), dated July 9, 2026, was received by the company via email on August 3, 2026.
According to the filing, the project was originally entrusted to POWERGRID Beawar Dausa Transmission Limited, then a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. The subsidiary was subsequently amalgamated with POWERGRID Vataman Transmission Limited with effect from March 1, 2026, pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) dated January 27, 2026.
POWERGRID stated that the commissioning marks the completion of the project titled “Transmission System for evacuation of Power from REZ in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase-III Part-H.”
