K2 Infragen Ltd. Secures ₹85 Crore Transmission Project from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation

K2 Infragen Ltd., an engineering and core infrastructure company, has announced the grant of INR 85 Crores Project from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited. The work shall pertain to the development of multiple 220 KV transmission lines and establishing 2×20 MVA 110/11 KV substations in Karnataka.

This Mega order shall help K2 Infragen to establish a credential as a long-term bankable player in the power transmission infrastructure domain, enabling the augmentation of power infrastructure in the Belgaum District of Karnataka. The said order has been awarded to M/s K2 Infragen Ltd. in consortium with M/s Om Associates Pvt. Ltd., and will be executing the entire project. This order has been added to the existing unexecuted order book of 376 Crore as on Feb’26, making the order book reach Rs 461 Crores.  

Commenting on this Development, Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Managing Director, K2 Infragen, said, “ K2 Infragen is on its way to become the leading player in Power Infrastructure. With the recent railway order of Rs 262 Crore, this order from KPTCL shall strengthen the company’s presence in the electrification infrastructure domain. It will also lead to the company’s foothold in South India. We now have strong revenue and profitable growth visibility for the coming years.” 

Commenting on this development, Ms. Vikas Lakhanpal, Director, K2 Infragen, said, “We are targeting aggressive but disciplined growth in the coming years. This order from KPTCL that augments our orders in the electrification infrastructure domain in both Railways and T&D to almost 87% of the total unexecuted order book will add strong synergies to our efforts in building efficiencies in supply chain & operations.”
