Supreme Power Equipment Limited has announced that Danya Electric Company, a partnership firm in which the company holds 90 percent share and significant control, has received a new domestic order worth ₹18.23 crore from Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL).
According to the company’s regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange of India, the order was received on March 4, 2026, The contract involves the supply of 25KVA/22KV distribution transformers for the local electric utility.
The order will be executed by Danya Electric Company within an approximate period of 18 months. The project falls under domestic procurement by TNPDCL and is aimed at strengthening distribution infrastructure through the supply of transformers.
The company clarified that the promoter, promoter group, or group companies have no interest in TNPDCL, the entity awarding the order. It also confirmed that the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
Danya Electric Company, where Supreme Power Equipment holds significant control, will execute the order as part of its transformer supply operations for the state distribution utility.
