Allied Engineering Works Limited (AEW) participated as an exhibitor at the National Conference on the Use of AI/ML in Power Distribution, held on December 6–7, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The two-day national event, themed “Harnessing AI/ML for Smart, Efficient & Sustainable Power Distribution”, brought together key stakeholders from India’s power sector, including DISCOMs, TSPs, AMISPs, home automation providers, policymakers, technology experts, and academia.
AEW showcased its innovation, Awarded as Best Overall Product in ELECRAMA, at Stall Nos. 22 & 23, with a special focus on its cutting-edge Distribution Transformer Management Solution (DTMS) – A Next-Generation Smart Energy Meter with Internally Powered I/O for Intelligent Monitoring. This invention introduces a smart energy meter with internally powered digital I/O and analog input ports, enabling seamless connection to external devices without auxiliary power supplies. It integrates control, monitoring, and communication functionalities in a single platform.
The system enhances safety, simplifies installation, and supports automation and IoT applications. Ideal for industrial, commercial, and remote energy systems, it transforms traditional meters into intelligent control hubs. The event reinforced the growing role of AI/ML in modernising India’s power distribution ecosystem improving reliability, optimising network performance, and advancing digital transformation across utilities.
