Celcius Logistics to Invest ₹100 Crore in 3.5-Ton Electric Reefer Fleet with Switch Mobility

Cold chain logistics platform Celcius Logistics has announced an investment of ₹100 crore to deploy a new fleet of 3.5-ton electric refrigerated vehicles (reefers) in collaboration with Switch Mobility.
The move aims to accelerate the company’s transition toward sustainable cold-chain operations while addressing the growing demand for temperature-controlled logistics in sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce.

Under this partnership, Switch Mobility will supply advanced electric vehicles equipped with energy-efficient refrigeration systems, while Celcius will integrate them into its nationwide logistics network. The fleet will help reduce carbon emissions, lower operating costs, and ensure real-time temperature tracking through IoT-enabled systems.

According to the company, this investment aligns with Celcius’s broader goal of electrifying a significant portion of its fleet over the next few years, supporting India’s mission to achieve cleaner and more efficient urban logistics solutions.
